This tote was made from remnant fabrics from four skirts. I just love these fabrics and been thinking what else I could make with the scraps and then it dawn on me that I should have enough to make a tote out of it.
I figured out a way to recycle my practised quilting sandwiches by turning them into grocery bags. They sure make a strong and sturdy one with all the three layers and quilting in them. They seem to carry more although I made them the same size as the regular plastic ones.
I made these ornaments and donated them to a Bee group for their church fund raising. They were really fun to make. I had bought quite a few yards of RWB fabric when there was a sale at Joanne's so they came in real handy for this project. I will definitely make more and donate them.
Another scrappy quilt from donated fabrics for charity. This is actually my first free motion quilting practise quilt. I did the stars and was very happy with the outcome. Enjoyed the process and getting a better hang of free motion quilting. Prefer it much more than having to mark the patterns.
This is one of the first quilt I made for charity after taking up quilting. The redwork are actually printed fabrics. I was so glad to find remnants of fabrics that matched well with each other.
