I know I have been MIA for a while. I was so involved with work and 'one' project which I cannot blog about and with eblogger changing their settings on me, made me feel not so lovvy huggy with blogging anymore. I am a creature of habits and I am one of those "if its not broken, please don't fix it" people but I will take to change easily if it is definitely more practical and funtional and in this case, NO the new eblogger is neither.
So, yes I have been putting offffff blogging for a long while until today, I feel like I have caught up a little on my 'one' project that I decided to play around with this new alien eblogger settings to try and get myself situated and introduced to her. I am not liking it one bit. I don't know where all the familiar buttons are anymore. Ok...enough venting......
I decided to challenge myself and took on a project that has completely consume every second/min....of my time for the last 3 months. Problem is I cannot blog about it till the deadline in June and if I am accepted then it will be in November. Its a quilting contest and I am praising the good Lord for giving me this opportunity to engage and enjoy the race. This journey has definitely expand my knowledge of Art Quilts and guided my knowledge and fingers to areas of many uncharted territories from fabric inks/paints, fabric weaving, applique, creating own paper piecing designs and the fun part of putting them all together.
Many a time thru the journey, I had almost given up cos all the pieces were falling apart and time constraint, but my Lord was so good to hold my hand and encourage me along the way to not give up and to enjoy the journey.
So Lord, thank you I am still enjoying the journey on this Art Quilt challenge.
