Last week, we had really terrible weather with rain and thunderstorm for almost half the week. I love being outdoors jogging, walking or biking so I missed out on my exercise for those days. Over the weekend, on Saturday, it didn't get any better but on Sunday, God answered my prayers and we were able to go to the park. Even though the sky looked gloomy and the weather forecast projected rain and thunderstorm, we got up early and headed out to the park before the rain could have a chance to spoil our plans.
We were in for a surprise cos tons of people were already there before us. It was cold with temp in the 50s and gloomy skies. We had thought most people would still be in bed with this kind of weather and this hour. Wrong ......we were the late birds it seems. This time I brought my camera and got some shots of the park.
I have heard on the news report that we had lost thousands of trees at this park dued to the severe drought over the summer but didn't realized the sad extent until I saw it with my own eyes.
