Art Quilt for Kitchen -Tuscany

I picked up quilting a year ago and really enjoyed art quilts. I have been experimenting with various tools, fabrics, techniques, machines and acquired quite a stassssh of fabrics and tools from my visit to the Houston Quilt Festival last year.

Since moving to my house 2 years ago, I have not been able to find anything to fill my kitchen nook because of it's weird shape. I decided maybe I can make an art quilt for it. My inspirations came from various books and photos, lots of fabric, and thru trials and error, the quilt was finally finished and I am happy with it. My kitchen finally looks complete.

Now I have to tackle the entrance nook. Been thinking of another art quilt.....

GG- What a beauty and being such a newcomer to quilting (only a bit over a year) you did a stupendous job. Very nicely done! Jane

Hey, Friend of Letti here. This quilt is incredible. Makes me want to break out the OLD sewing machine again.
