I had originally created this blog for my art/pottery works so I went around the house looking for some of my finished projects to photograph. I decided on these two tiles I had painted several years ago. It is painted in underglaze and low fired. I was at that time doing some redwork hand embroidery of these same 'colonial girl' motif and thought maybe I could paint some in blue on tiles to be use as coasters.
I love how they came out and they are well used in my kitchen/dining.
