Never thought I would say this but yes, I am hooked to the television series 'NCIS'. Growing up, we were only allowed one hr of tv a day at a specific time and thats it. So I was never really into following any tv series cos I didn't get a chance to and also my father never allowed it.
I am grateful my father did what he did cos theres just too much trash on tv these days. But.....during those few months while working on my challenge project, I needed something for background music/entertainment besides just cd music, ksbj radio, ..... but I really dislike the commercials so what I did was mute the tv but had my cd music on alot of the time cos most of the time I am working anyway but....when I am taking a break, I would channel surf and if I land on a station without commercials and it looks interesting, I would leave it there for a while till I am ready to go back to my project again.
Well, on several occasions, I happened onto NCIS without knowing the name of the show.....but I remember Mark Harmon......oh.....I love him from Flamingo Road (I never got to follow thru with the series but I remember him and Morgan Fairchild)....so naturally I stopped to watch abit of the show to see what it was about.....then Abby came on with her funky outfits and charater....then Tony and Caitlin showed up bickering like siblings....and then Ziva, when I found out she was Mossad...that was it, I was hooked. I had to find the name of the show, what time it comes on etc.....
On Saturdays, USA station usually have NCIS whole day marathon and that was good but weekdays, not so good. So I looked up to see whether they had the dvds and hellooooo..........I must have played these dvds at least half a dozen times each and I am still loving it......I just can't wait for season 10.....I just hope none of the characters died......I love them all.

We have more or less done away with the TV... radio is what we do all day long... enjoy your NCIS...
This is my favorite all time show. I watch the reruns on USA network everyday...well I did until we are only with one tv. James (the youngest) doesn't care for it and complains.
