After finishing my last quilted bag, I was left with 4 very nice size pieces of quilted fabric ~ 4" square and didn't have the heart to throw it away so I decided one can never have too many pin cushions and thus......
I now have 2 new pin cushions. I have made quite a few over the years but somehow they are always hiding when I need them. Hopefully these will find me when they are needed. From past experience, I have learned to over stuff these pillows so the pins/needles especially the long ones will not go thru the cushion. Also overstuffing gives it a firm base and holds/grips the pins/needles more securely.
And of course the stuffing are recycled too from the leftover batting of quilts I have sandwiched.

I lose things all the time too. Unlike my mother who still has the same pin cushion since 1960 something.
Sew a loop on it and hang it in your sewing area. (Just a thought.)
