ZizZaz Quilt top

This pattern had been on my to-make-wish-list since I saw the finished quilt on some magazine and quilt blogs.  So, couple weekends ago when I was finished with other projects, I dug into my colorful stash to make this pattern.

I think I love this pattern cos its like a jigsaw puzzle. There are so many random ways you can do this by just changing a color/fabric on one row.  I had to concentrate when putting these blocks on my design wall cos a few times, I had a few blocks rotated the wrong way and had to do some ripping...:(

Unfortunately, I had underestimated the width cos after chopping off the triangle ends, it looked pretty short ~39" but the lenght is good ~ 59".  So I will have to add borders to the width later when I get ready to quilt it.

I will probably make this pattern again but change it up a little.

The finished top before I chopped off the tail ends.

the final top.
