Ceramic Jug & Salt House

Since my old desktop died months ago, I never thought I would see these pictures again.  I had a backup somewhere but didn't know where I had put it ????....isn't that silly???...and I was too lazy to go around looking for them.  I pretty much had let go of the past and happy to start over until couple days ago, DH managed to salvage the memory to an external box and revived it.

As I was going thru the photo folder, I found some old ceramic pieces I had made a looooong while back.  The ceramic jug is actually one of my favourite pieces I had made.  I went for a class that taught how to use molds, handbuilding etc... and I wish I had save the pattern pieces and instructions but the class went by so fast that we were all playing catch up with the instructor.  But I am very happy how my piece turned out especially that it didn't warp or crack.  But it needs to be glaze.

The 'Salt House' piece, I had seen on tv.  I cannot remember the name of the show but the host would go around the country showing how local artists work and I love houses so I couldn't shake it off my mind and had to go my studio and figure out how to make this piece.  The artists used it to store salt thats why I named it the salt house.  This piece needs to be glaze too.

I will post more old pieces as I go thru my old pictures.
